Although the sole is chunky, this features ladder grip which is reinforced, making these boots very tough for walking over stones, debris or rocky terrain.
The boot itself offers a wider calf and foot sections to minimise any rubbing or likelihood of blisters, which is a blessing!

Hardwearing, I found these boots comfortable to wear, and they were easy to take on and off which is always a bonus!
The outer ‘distressed’ fabric is made from leather and suede, which are both water-resistant.
Inside, the boot looks well ventilated, and heavy padding can be found on the collar and tongue to keep the cold out and the heat in.
These fishing boots feature laces, or speed laces as Snowbee call them. Which took me just a few seconds to tie up securely.
A webbing heel loop makes getting them on and off easier as you now have something to grab onto!
The rubber sole offered plenty of grip, and the tread was deeper than on some boots I’ve seen recently.
To further add protection, the heel is made from rubber and a raised toe moulding offers even further protection in case you bang your toe on a rock or something.

A peek inside reveals an insulated fleece and sponge, made up of 70% polyester and 30% acrylic, which offers complete warmth and comfort during cold weather.
I tried the Size 10 polar boots on, and I have to say that these felt comfortable as I made my way around the lake on the lookout for fish activity.
I found these boots to be light, and they gripped the terrain with no trouble at all.
These are everything an angler could want in a fishing boot!
Once home, the breathable innersole can be removed and left to air.

I don’t think I would reach for these if I had a take in the night, because they take a bit of time to lace up!

Plus, there is plenty of protection in these boots, especially in the heel and toe areas, whilst the padded tongue and heel means you are not constantly pulling the material due to constant rubbing on the front of your feet!
