Blackthorn fishery is a 3.5 acre lake located in the heart of the blackthorn forest and is home to many other wildlife, such as ducks, coots, moorhens, herons, kingfishers and squirrels.
The fishery is open all year round from dawn until dusk.
The fishery is situated in a truly remote location on private ground without public access. You are guaranteed plenty of space when you fish at Blackthorn.
It’s the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy premium fishing at its best.
There are two types of living quarters; three luxury lakeside lodges and the original log cabins available to book.
The lakeside luxury lodges are designed for couples wishing to book a self-catering fishing holiday, with each lodge designed to the highest specifications to offer a comfortable stay.
Of, you can opt to stay and fish from the original log cabin, that is smaller but more intimate than the lodges.
With an open plan living area, it looks directly out onto the lake for great panoramic views and spectacular sunsets.
For members, you can make a bivvy booking if you prefer.
In both types, anglers are offered:
- Free WiFi
- Central Heating
- Bed Linen
- Towels (Luxury lodges only)
- BBQ grill
- Lockable containers for fishing tackle
- CCTV monitored car park
Lake bookings are for members of Blackthorn Fishery only. If you would like to become a member, please visit the website for more information.
