So, here we are at last – my long overdue review of the Nash Moon Chair!
Now, I know these have been around for a while, but I was originally put off by the size, but after a few friends recommended I try it, they have swayed me to buy one!
Anyway, here is my review of the standard moon chair, low moon chair and newly released micro moon chair.
Let’s do this!
1. Nash Indulgence Moon Chair
So, I finally got around to sitting in the Nash Moon Chair, and I have to say, it’s extremely comfortable!
The peachskin padding is great, and to be fair, it was extremely comfortable! The skirting around the arm rests and along the back are made of micro fleece, which I found to be very warm indeed.
The overall design is just really well done. Not to mention, the Nash camo looks great too!
I’ll be honest, prior to trying out the Nash Moon Chair – it did look big, but it really isn’t.
The unique support system (i.e the bars that run along the base and form part of the cross framed legs) is stable, and it can be collapsed, or unfolded in seconds.
Other noticeable features include mesh valuables pockets on the inside of the chair are super handy for storing things like your phone or wallet – or even small bits of tackle if you wanted.
Underneath the moon chair I noticed tension straps, designed to provide support, and although I’m not a large chap, this did make the chair feel solid, which is what you want I guess!
All in all, I’m very impressed with this chair and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish option.
This is the original, but upgraded Nash Moon Chair – next up is the micro version!
Dimensions: 100cm (w) x 100cm (d) x 40cm (h)
2. Nash Indulgence Low Moon Chair
I wanted to try out the Nash Low Moon Chair for myself, so I got my hands on one and put it to the test. I have to say, I was very impressed!
The chair is extremely comfortable, like its older brother, with a great design that allows you to really sink into it and relax as you gaze at the lake through your polarised sunnies, watching for any activity.
It’s also incredibly sturdy and well-made, which is essential when you’re using it in the great outdoors.
Plus, it folds up flat for easy transport and storage, which is ideal for me as I have a small car and a low profile shelter.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the Nash Low Moon Chair to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable fishing chair.
Dimensions: 100cm (w) x 100cm (d) x 24cm (h)
3. Nash Micro Moon Chair
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Nash Micro Moon Chair and I have to say that, despite it been so small, it was just as good as the standard and low indulgence models.
The chair is extremely comfortable, thanks to the micro fleece covered inner mattress and peachskin trim skirt.
It’s also very easy to transport and pack down, thanks to its handy carry handle.
Although I much prefer the low chair out of the three available – this chair would be ideal for a guest or even your dog!
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a compact yet ultra comfortable chair.
Seat Base Depth: 33cm
Packdown: 69cm (l) x 37cm (w)
Final Thoughts: Nash Moon Chair Collection
After trying all three moon chairs – each offers something a bit different, but retains all the comfort and quality. The
My personal pick is the Nash Low Moon Chair, because this offers been a better eye-level view of my swim.
However, the Original Nash Moon Chair is very relaxing, and is the larger of the three chairs.
The recently released Micro Moon Chair is ideal for guests, or anglers who like to pack small, or are after something that can easily be carried around the lake when stalking carp in the margins.
Overall, the whole collection is exceedingly comfortable, which is a big plus in my opinion.
If you haven’t tried one yet – I can tell you now that you will love this fishing chair!
